The Graceful Red Deer

The red deer is a symbol of grace and strength, often roaming the forests of Europe and Asia. At the zoo, these majestic animals are given a large, wooded enclosure where they can roam freely.

One red deer, named Luna, became famous for her gentle nature. Luna was born at the zoo and quickly bonded with her caretakers, often approaching them during feeding times. During the winter, zookeepers provide her and the herd with warm bedding and additional high-energy food to mimic the seasonal changes in the wild.

Luna’s favorite treat is fresh apples, which visitors can sometimes see her munching on contentedly. Her calm demeanor makes her a favorite among children, who often stop to watch her graceful movements.
